Geritz / Kaffa is Thijs’ improvisational project with

Stephan C. Kaffa that began in 2013 and ran until 2016.

They create so-called Klankjes (Little sounds) using combinations of guitar, loops, field recordings, and other sounds. They never agree on anything, but interestingly enough, that is not at all evident in their music. It is actually very relaxed.

The project has been showcased at various events, such as Rewire, Volkspaleis

and Noodlebar.
